This particular project was unique in its design. In the City where blue barrels are used to contain rain water on a home owner level, this design was partnered with a reclaimed water irrigation system. With the help of geotextile fabric, a plastic liner, and Cultec Recharger Storm Chambers, the customer achieved a storm water retention/detention system that contained the storm water to be used later in their reclaimed water irrigation system. Eliminating the conflicts brought on with detention lakes, (safety concerns, mosquitoes, expense of fence, ect.) Storm chambers keep the water underground. This water can either be contained, like this project, or it can be released through the chambers design. |
