Why?
Looking out over the
Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary
area in Southwest Florida, all you see is green. In fact on
certain days, walking through this area makes you feel as if you have
completely escaped the concrete world in which most of us live.
These areas have an enormous impact on air quality, water quality, and
weather. While many believe these enormous impacts are
important, many also disregard the importance of planning with this as
top priority. For example, jobs are commonly planned out with
concrete or rip rap slope protection when a more natural solution
exists. |

The purpose of
IPAFES
is to join a community of people who
feel that any impact is an impact! Through a global community we will
present areas like the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary all across the world, while
also presenting environmental solutions that people have come up with to
battle against the human impact that border these important ecosystems. We
as humans have the opportunity to realize the importance of "environmentally
conscious" smart planning in every phase of the construction that comes
along with human impact. IPAFES
believes that by creating an awareness among the industry that new and
innovative products exist and are being used, we too can make an impact! |

IPAFES
will help push an awareness of common problems and innovative solutions to
these problems. Focusing on Storm water pollution prevention, erosion and
sediment control, and slope erosion protection, we will provide case studies
for the many applications used globally. These efforts will hopefully make
it easier for engineers, designers, and contractors to make environmental
conscious planning decisions themselves. With the help of Midwest
Construction Products, we will be holding local IPAFES seminars. These
seminars will help bring you together with the solutions that you have been
looking for. We will have manufacture's representatives on hand to answer
any questions that you may have on their innovative product lines. Please

completely up to us. IPAFES
will help push an awareness of common problems and innovative solutions
to these problems. These pictures on this page
were taken at the
Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary. This sanctuary is located
approximately 18 mile NE of Naples, Florida. With
Ave Maria being
built to the east, Naples and Fort Myers to the west and north, this area is
under constant struggles to remain the way it has been for thousands of
years. We can help this struggle by practicing environmental smart design!
As the deer above and the alligator to the right sit unaware to the impact
we bring,
